Legal Manager - Property Development (Bali, Indonesia)

Join DK-MY Properties, a leading property developer, as a Legal Manager in the vibrant heart of Bali. This is a unique opportunity to oversee all legal aspects of property development projects in one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic real estate markets.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing legal compliance, contracts, and regulatory affairs for projects in Canggu, ensuring that all developments adhere to Indonesian laws and regulations. You’ll work closely with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to navigate complex legal landscapes, from land acquisition to final handover.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Manage and oversee all legal aspects of property development projects, including contracts, permits, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian laws and regulations, including land use, environmental, and construction codes.
• Lead legal due diligence for land acquisitions and project agreements.
• Coordinate with legal advisors, government agencies, and third-party service providers to facilitate smooth project progress.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and agreements for property developments.
• Provide legal guidance to project teams on regulatory requirements and risk mitigation strategies.
• Monitor changes in legal and regulatory environments and advise on strategic adjustments.
• Ensure all legal documentation is up-to-date and accessible for audits and inspections.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in legal or regulatory affairs within the property development industry.
• Strong understanding of Indonesian property laws, including the Law on Land and Building, and related regulations.
• Experience with land acquisition, zoning, and environmental permits in Bali.
• Proficiency in legal research, contract drafting, and negotiation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with project management software such as MS Project or similar tools.
• Knowledge of real estate development processes and industry best practices.
• Certification in legal or regulatory affairs (e.g., CIPP, CIPM) is a plus.
